About Me

Since the late 90s, I have worked with individuals across the life span in a variety of settings. I have had the privilege of helping people through a myriad of life’s stresses, including, but not limited to: times of transition, grief and loss, managing anxiety, and interpersonal conflicts (work, parent/child, marital/divorce, friendships). Drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Strength-Based, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Family Systems, clients can expect to gain an overall better understanding of themselves and their relationships with others. They will learn and practice skills that lead to greater self-awareness and compassion, improved communication, effective coping strategies, and conflict resolution.

 My Education:

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 1996 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and in 1999 from the University of Chicago with a Masters in Social Work.  I have been a licensed clinical social worker since 2001.  I have dedicated my life to helping others through my professional endeavors and commitment to philanthropy.

I truly believe that everyone deserves to live a happy, meaningful, and wholehearted life.  We can achieve such a life by prioritizing and taking steps to care for our mental and physical health, examining, and nurturing the various relationships in our lives, and maintaining a willingness to be open, honest, compassionate, and vulnerable.
